Teens Gain Insight

Career Insights For Teens, an interfaith youth ministry of New Castle Presbytery, is an established, proven senior high career counseling program for high school juniors, seniors and second semester sophomores.

Held on two Saturdays or Sundays, the program consists of two sessions designed to help teens learn more about: their interests, personalities, abilities and values; their future career options; and the education and training needed to achieve their career goals.

The specific contents of these sessions are:

Session I: Parent Orientation (45 minutes), Student Profiling & Inventories plus Shared Meal (3 hours)
Session II: (students only) Review & Interpretation of Inventories; Group Discussion; Shared Meal; One-on-One Counseling Session and Online Career Research (5 Hours)

Who Should Participate?

In addition to students who are college bound, those considering an associate degree, vocational training, military service or gainful employment after high school will also find the program very helpful.
