New Castle Presbytery (Presbyterian Church -USA) in a joint interfaith youth ministry with area churches and synagogues, has established a proven  senior high career counseling program for high school juniors, seniors and second semester sophomores.

Held on two Saturdays or Sundays, the program consists of sessions designed to help teens learn more about: their interests, personalities, abilities and values; their future career options; and the education and training needed to achieve their career goals

The specific contents of these sessions are:

 Session I: Student/Parent Orientation (1 hour),  Student Personal Profiling and Inventories and Shared Meal     (students only for 2-3 hours) 
 Session II: (students only) Review and Interpretaion of Inventory Results; Group Discussion; Shared Meal; One-on-One Counseling Session and Online Career Research (5 Hours)

Who Should Participate?

  In addition to students who are college bound, those considering an associate degree, vocational training,  military service or gainful employment after high school will also find the program very helpful.
